Census 2027 phase 1 to take place between April-September

The Ministry of Home Affairs stated that the first phase of the Census 2027, houselisting operations, will take place between April 1 and September 30 in all states and Union Territories. Each region is required to complete the process within a 30-day period. The ministry stated that a 15-day self-enumeration window will be available immediately prior to the phase commencing.
