Centre approves ₹12,015 cr for Delhi Metro expansion, will have 13 stations
The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved Phase-V(A) of the Delhi Metro Rail Project. Under this phase, 13 new stations will be constructed, including 10 underground and three elevated stations. "A 16 km-long new line will be laid at a cost of ₹12,015 crore. With this, the Delhi Metro network will cross 400 km," Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said.
