Centre approves ₹65 crore for GIS survey of unauthorised colonies
The Centre has approved ₹65 crore for DRISHTI, a GIS-based survey and mapping project covering Delhi's unauthorised colonies. The Centre will contribute ₹52 crore, while the Delhi government will provide ₹13 crore. The initiative aims to speed up property documentation under PM-UDAY, which covers more than 1,500 colonies.
