Centre approves scheme to boost MSME manufacturing sector

The central government has approved the Mutual Credit Guarantee Scheme for MSMEs (MCGS-MSME) that would facilitate loans up to ₹100 crore for purchase of plant and machinery/equipment for eligible firms. NCGTC to offer 60% guarantee on loans up to ₹100 crore for MSME equipment purchases.
