Centre bans non-essential construction, calls for curbs on 4-wheelers in Delhi-NCR

The Centre's pollution control panel on Thursday imposed restrictions under Stage III of the GRAP in Delhi-NCR as air quality worsened in the region. Non-essential construction work has been banned and curbs are suggested on the plying of BS III petrol and BS IV diesel 4-wheelers. State governments may discontinue physical classes for kids upto class five, the order said.
