Centre considering transfer of 4 Gujarat villages to UT of Dadra

The Union Home Ministry is holding discussions to transfer four villages and a piece of land from Gujarat to the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. Meghval, Nagar, Raymal and Madhuban villages in South Gujarat are more accessible from Diu. The Union Territory has demanded the land in Saurashtra to develop a fishing port.
