Centre grants relief to housing projects hit by West Asia conflict

The Centre has asked state Real Estate Regulatory Authorities (RERAs) to grant a four-month extension to eligible housing projects delayed by supply-chain disruptions caused by the West Asia conflict. The relief applies to registered projects with completion deadlines falling on or after February 28, 2026. The move aims to ease pressure on developers facing shortages of key construction materials.
