Centre has reviewed over 200 'jhuggi' clusters in Delhi: Puri in RS

Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri told Rajya Sabha on Monday that Centre has surveyed 210 'jhuggi' (slum dwelling) clusters in Delhi. Puri added that jhuggis constructed before January 2006 aren't supposed to be removed without providing alternative housing to residents. However, any jhuggi that came up after 2015 will be immediately removed without providing alternate housing, Puri added.
