Centre proposes instant licence suspension for NSQ drug makers
India's Health Ministry has proposed immediately suspending manufacturing licences of drug makers whose products fail quality standards and are declared 'not of standard quality' (NSQ). Suspension will be lifted only after root cause analysis and corrective measures. The move aims to prevent substandard medicines from staying in circulation and strengthen patient safety.
