Centre releases grant of ₹830.85 cr to Odisha under Jal Jeevan Mission

Centre released a grant of ₹830.85 crore to Odisha under Jal Jeevan Mission. Out of 85.67 lakh rural households in the state, 35.37 lakh have tap water supply in their homes, Ministry of Jal Shakti said. There is a massive increase in budgetary allocation to ₹3,323.42 crore in 2021-22, from ₹812.15 crore in the preceding year for Odisha, it added.
