Centre run organisation are 'sinking' Bengal: CM Mamata on floods

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on Thursday visited the flood-affected areas of the state and blamed Centre over the rising water levels saying it could have been avoided. She alleged that central government's Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) is releasing more water to keep Jharkhand safe due to which Bengal is sinking. Banerjee described the floods as a "man-made disaster".
