Centre says court ordering GST cut on air purifiers may open 'Pandora's box', calls PIL 'loaded'

The Centre said Delhi High Court ordering a GST cut on air purifiers could open "Pandora's box", citing the GST Council as the constitutional body responsible for GST-related decisions. Calling the PIL to cut GST "loaded", the Centre said, "We don't know who's behind this PIL...Somebody wants a monopoly in air purifiers." Advocate Kapil Madan had filed the PIL.
