Centre seeks report from Bengal over protocol lapse during Prez Murmu's visit

Union Home Secretary on Sunday sought a detailed report from the West Bengal Chief Secretary by 5 pm today regarding lapses in the prescribed protocol for receiving President Droupadi Murmu. This comes a day after President Murmu expressed displeasure after the TMC government changed the venue of the event she was supposed to attend and did not formally welcome her.
