Google will roll out the Gemini-driven 'Ask YouTube' feature in the US this summer, CEO Sundar Pichai announced at Google I/O 2026. Instead of a standard list of videos, it generates text summaries integrated with videos that begin from relevant timestamps. "It remembers the context so you can follow up with questions...making it an ongoing conversation," Pichai said.
