CERT-In warns WhatsApp users of fake invoices, bank statements

The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has issued a cybersecurity warning to WhatsApp users over a malware campaign spreading through fake invoices, bank statements, and other business-related documents. The agency advised users not to open suspicious files, even if sent by known contacts. It added that WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp Desktop are the primary targets of the campaign.
