Chainguard launches Athena Coalition to secure open-source AI

Chainguard has launched the Athena Coalition, partnering with Cisco, JPMorgan Chase, and others to protect open-source software from AI-related security threats. Using AI tools, Athena identifies vulnerabilities quickly, deploys coordinated fixes across platforms, and integrates with Chainguard's secure-by-default products and research from OpenAI's Daybreak team.
