Challenge to retrieve 50-yr-old UK satellite from space launched

UK-based rocket company Skyrora has launched a challenge for the UK space industry to de-orbit the 50-year-old British satellite 'Prospero' which was launched from Australia in October 1971. The now-defunct 66-kilogram Prospero remains the only British satellite to have been launched from a British rocket. The satellite could be heard transmitting on 137.56 MHz as late as 2004.
