Chandigarh advocate booked for abetting canteen worker's suicide

Chandigarh Police registered a case under BNS Section 108 against advocate SP Bansal after a 57-year-old canteen worker consumed poison at Sector 43 District Court complex. The victim's son alleged his father was abused and humiliated by the advocate. The victim died at GMCH Sector 32. The District Bar Association observed work abstention, demanding a fair trial for Bansal.
