Chandigarh announces lockdown from March 23 to 31 as coronavirus cases rise

The Chandigarh administration has announced a lockdown in the territorial jurisdiction of the entire Union Territory from March 23 to March 31 as the number of coronavirus cases rise. It had earlier asked people to stay indoors and not to come out unless there is urgency. It had also advised people to not to believe in rumours.
