Chaos erupts after police in AAP-ruled Punjab lathi charge protesting sanitation workers

Chaos has erupted in AAP-ruled Punjab's Barnala after police lathi charged protesting sanitation workers. The workers were protesting against lower wages and demanding regularisation of contractual employees. Some of the protesters, including women, were injured during the action. MP Swati Maliwal called the AAP a hypocrite and accused it of inciting protests in Delhi.
