Char Dham Yatra suspended for 2 days amid red alert

Uttarakhand's Char Dham Yatra has been suspended from September 27–28 due to 'red' and 'orange' rain alerts issued by the meteorological department. Garhwal Commissioner Anand Swaroop directed district magistrates to take appropriate action. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami urged residents and tourists to avoid non-essential travel and stay away from rivers and landslide-prone areas.
