Sanjay Puri, principal architect of Sanjay Puri Architects, described Charles Correa’s Kanchan Junga as an architectural maverick that modern builders cannot replicate. Built 30 years ago as a "bungalow in the sky", its cuboid design still looks contemporary, he added. Puri noted that while modern buildings suffer from "missing balconies", the structure remains a gold standard for luxury living.
