ChatGPT-maker OpenAI confidentially files for IPO in US

ChatGPT-maker OpenAI has announced that it filed confidential IPO papers with the US Securities & Exchange Commission. However, the company said a listing may take time as certain goals are easier to achieve while remaining private. Earlier, Reuters reported OpenAI could target a valuation of up to $1 trillion. The move follows rival Anthropic's IPO filing earlier this month.
