Instagram chats to no longer be private as it ends encrypted messaging from May 8

Instagram has announced that it will no longer support end-to-end encrypted messaging from May 8. This means that its parent Meta will soon be able to access users' chats once the feature is discontinued. The social media platform said that it will provide instructions to users about how to download any media or messages that they may want to keep.
