'Checkm8' exploit lets Apple devices be jailbroken 'permanently'

Security researcher Axi0mX published exploit 'Checkm8' on Friday that could let several Apple devices be jailbroken 'permanently', without a chance for a software fix. The exploit affects Apple device with an A5 through A11 chipset, including every iPhone model from 4S to X. However, the exploit requires physical access to a device and has to be carried out over USB.
