Chef who was once a homeless dishwasher gets Michelin star

A self-taught chef who recently received his first Michelin star for his restaurant was once a homeless dishwasher who slept on the streets of Paris. Born to Lebanese parents, 43-year-old Alan Geaam arrived in Paris around two decades ago. When he was in Paris, his cooking skills were noticed by the chef of the restaurant where he washed dishes.
