Chelsea sign World Cup winning goalkeeper Martinez from Aston Villa on 3-year deal

Chelsea have signed Argentina goalkeeper and FIFA World Cup 2022 winner Emiliano Martinez from Aston Villa on a three-year deal. The 33-year-old has joined the club for a reported £7.5 million fee after making 256 appearances for Villa across six seasons. His exit comes after Villa signed Japan goalkeeper Zion Suzuki from Parma earlier this month.
