Defending champions of the English Premier League, Chelsea are top of the chart for wage bills in the league. Fourteenth placed Chelsea have hit a record £215.6m in wages, a rise of £25m in their wages compared to last year's numbers. Manchester United, who were on top of the chart last year, reduced their wages to £203m this year.
