Chemistry postgraduate saves 600 native seeds, sells across India

From purple tomatoes and 25-kg pumpkins to four-foot bottle gourds, 27-year-old Gokulraj's farm in Tamil Nadu is a living museum of vegetables. After MSc(Chemistry), he chose organic farming over a job and began collecting native seeds from farmers, tribal communities and seed savers. He has conserved 600 varieties, which he propagates on his farm and sells seeds across India
