Chennai-based Agnikul quick-starts 3D printed rocket engine in 18.85 sec

Chennai-based startup Agnikul Cosmos has successfully tested a quick-start capability for its single-piece, fully 3D printed Agnite rocket engine in 18.85 seconds. Agnikul, which uses liquid propellant, distinguishes itself from traditional launch vehicles that use solid fuel. "From here on, the acceleration of engines to reach steady state will likely consume lesser and lesser fuel," it said.
