Chennai-born Sriram, who quit as Trump's advisor, was architect of US' AI policies

Chennai-born AI researcher Sriram Krishnan, who's stepping down as senior policy advisor at the White House, was the architect of US President Donald Trump's AI policies. The 42-year-old, who previously worked at Microsoft, Facebook and Twitter, had built US' "AI Action Plan", a blueprint to cut regulation of AI development. Krishnan also advised Elon Musk on his 2022 Twitter takeover.
