Chennai temple serving Iftar to Muslims for over 40 years

A Chennai temple has been cooking Iftar meals for Muslims during Ramzan for over 40 years. Started by a Hindu refugee family after Partition, Sufi Dar Temple prepares food for 1,000-1,200 people each day and sends it to Wallajah Mosque. The menu changes daily. Locals say the tradition strengthens Hindu-Muslim bonds and stands as strong example of unity and service.
