Chess champ not defending title in Saudi over women's rights

Ukrainian double world chess champion Anna Muzychuk is not participating in this week's world championship being held in Saudi Arabia over women's rights. In a Facebook post, the 27-year-old wrote, "I decided...not to play by someone's rules, not to wear abaya...and altogether not to feel myself a secondary creature." Earlier, Israeli chess players were barred from participating in the tournament.
