Chhattisgarh blacklists Oriental Insurance for 3 years

Chhattisgarh government blacklisted Oriental Insurance Company (OICL) for three years after it rejected an insurance claim for a government AgustaWestland helicopter that crashed in May 2022, killing two pilots. The claim was kept pending for over four years before rejection. OICL called the decision unjust, saying it followed due process per policy terms.
