Chhattisgarh mandates 'Gayatri Mantra' in govt schools, Congress calls it 'RSS agenda'

Chhattisgarh government has made the daily recitation of the 'Gayatri Mantra', 'Deep Mantra' and 'Guru Mantra' mandatory in all state-run schools. The students will also have to recite a 'Bhojan Mantra' before the midday meals and a 'Shanti Mantra' at the end of the school day. "Imposing the RSS agenda in government schools is wrong," Congress leader Sushil Shukla said.
