Chhattisgarh MLA Devvrat Singh dies of cardiac arrest aged 52

Devvrat Singh, a four-time MLA from Chhattisgarh and former MP, died on Thursday at the age of 52 after suffering a cardiac arrest. Singh had complained of chest pain around midnight and was taken to hospital, where he was declared dead. Devvrat Singh was the MLA from Khairagarh in the Rajnandgaon district. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel condoled his demise.
