Chhattisgarh woman carries 90-yr-old mother-in-law on back for 9 km to bank for pension

A woman carried her 90-year-old mother-in-law on her back for nine kilometres in Chhattisgarh's Mainpat area so the elderly woman could collect her pension from a bank. Sukhmania Bai reportedly walked through forests and streams to help her mother-in-law receive the ₹500 monthly old-age pension, which had allegedly been pending for the last three months due to KYC processing.
