Chhota Rajan's brother gets election ticket from BJP ally in Maha

BJP ally Republican Party of India (Athawale) has given a ticket to Deepak Nikalje, brother of gangster Chhota Rajan, to contest the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections from Phaltan constituency. Nikalje had also contested from Chembur seat in 2014 Assembly polls as the party's candidate, but lost. Notably, the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance has given six seats to RPI (A).
