Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment goes bankrupt

Self-help, consumer goods and media company Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment filed for bankruptcy in Delaware, US. The company, which failed to outrun a heavy debt load, listed its assets and liabilities of at least $500 million each. Court documents show Chicken Soup struggled to keep up with its financial obligations after buying DVD rental company Redbox in 2022.
