Chief Economic Adviser Nageswaran's term extended by 2 years

The government has extended the term of Chief Economic Adviser V Anantha Nageswaran by two years till March 2027. He was appointed to the position in January 2022. Nageswaran has also been a part-time member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister from 2019 to 2021. He holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Ahmedabad.
