Chihuahua named Spike becomes oldest living dog at the age of 23

A US family's dog named Spike has become the world's oldest living dog, the Guinness World Records has announced. The Chihuahua mix was "at least 23 years and 7 days old, as verified in Camden, Ohio, USA, on 7 December 2022," it stated. His owner Rita Kimball had rescued him from grocery store parking lot in 2009.
