Child adopted by a widow can inherit deceased husband's property, rules Allahabad HC

The Allahabad HC ruled that a son adopted by a widow after her husband's death is deemed to be the adopted son of the deceased and is entitled to inherit his share in the property. This decision came from a 1983 land dispute in Prayagraj, where Ramji (adopted by Moti Rani after her husband's death) was challenged as an heir.
