Child born in marriage of illegal conversion to belong to mother's religion in Maharashtra

The anti-conversion Bill was tabled in the Maharashtra Assembly on Friday, and it said that a child born in a marriage caused by alleged illegal conversion would belong to the mother's original religion. The Bill also mandates that those wanting to change their religion must give a 60-day notice in advance to the concerned authority.
