Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday said child malnutrition, gender inequality, equitable access to safe water and environmental pollution are a few factors hindering India's progress. While speaking at the virtual inauguration of Association of Indian Universities annual meet, Naidu said that colleges and universities can contribute in this regard through research and policy development.
