Chile declares emergency as wildfires kill at least 15

Wildfires in southern Chile have killed at least 15 people and forced over 50,000 to evacuate, the government said. Nearly two dozen fires are burning, mainly in Nuble and Biobio. President Gabriel Boric declared a state of emergency, mobilising the armed forces. Authorities warned of a "complicated situation" as flames devastated cities like Penco and Lirquen.
