Chile President-elect Gabriel Boric announces women-majority cabinet

Chile President-elect Gabriel Boric on Saturday announced his first cabinet, naming 14 women out of 24. Among the newly elected representatives, 35-year-old prominent doctor, Izkia Siches will be Chile's first woman Interior Minister. Former President Salvador Allende's granddaughter, Maya Fernandez was appointed as Defence Minister. Boric will take oath as Chile's youngest President on March 11.
