China & Russia back India to play 'greater role at UNSC' in BRICS declaration

BRICS leaders at the 18th Summit in New Delhi voiced support for UN reforms to make it more democratic and to increase representation of developing countries. "China and Russia, as permanent members of the UNSC, reiterate their support to the aspirations of Brazil and India to play a greater role in the UN, including its Security Council," the declaration stated.
