China achieves first controlled reusable rocket recovery

China has successfully recovered its Long March 10B booster, marking its first controlled retrieval of an orbital-class rocket. Unlike SpaceX’s vertical landing approach, China’s system captures the booster in a sea-based net. This milestone, following years of development, aims to drastically reduce costs and increase launch frequency for China’s expanding space program.
