China adds 10 American firms to its export control list

The Chinese government has added 10 US firms to its export control list, including two rare earth firms. The government cited provisions of China's laws on export control of dual-use items, products with both civilian and military applications, as well as the need to safeguard national security. The nation will also restrict 46 US firms from government procurement.
