China approves Sinovac vaccine for emergency use for children aged 3-17

China has approved coronavirus vaccine made by Sinovac Biotech for emergency use in children aged between 3-17, its chairman Yin Weidong told state TV. When the vaccine will be offered to minors depends on health authorities formulating China's inoculation strategies, Weidong added. The country has administered more than 72.3 crore doses of COVID-19 vaccines as of June 3.
